The Important Meal

When works are pilling up, what should you do?

Head over to the nearest McD and enjoy their Big Breakfast, of course.

Nobody should work with empty stomach.

Today is the second day I'm attached to Pertubuhan Persatuan Peladang (PPK) and I already missed my cubicle the second I stepped into PPK office. This building is super old and never been maintained from the look of it. Without any briefing or what so-ever, we were tossed with thousand of pending receipt to be written. We were precisely told to do a research on one of the scheme here, not doing their pending job. So, today we stood up for ourselves and ditched the mountain high receipts.

Even with reports queuing up, I never let that get in my way of getting fun. Last night, I went to watch The Karate Kid with my friends. It was a blast. Honestly, I think I'm falling for a nine years old. Jaden Smith is a total sweetheart. Do check Steph 's blog for our hangout last night.

Blizzard

When I was preparing myself for my presentation, suddenly I'm craving for Blizzard.

 The Oreo flavor.

I don't know if they have this in Sarawak. But we have Igloo in Kuching. Guess I have to settle for that then. Damn this presentation nerves, everything in my stomach are having pool party, doing all sorts of somersaults and butterflies are flying wild there.

Wish me luck for the presentation.

After Work

I just realized I had been going out for three nights out of five nights this week. No wonder I was so restless. I always felt like I need more sleep but I'm having problem to take my nap now. Can't you believe it? Every time I tried to sleep, I would took a very long time to actually fall asleep or worst I couldn't sleep at all. But at night, I slept soundly like a baby.

So, instead of taking nap after work, I headed out with my house mates. We went to The Spring and Boulevard two nights in a row. The actual plan is to survey some cheap furniture but guess where we ended. Hehehe...spent the whole trip of The Spring at Padini Concept Store browsing for new tops. And of course we didn't went home empty handed.

But the next night at Boulevard, I didn't bought anything. But that didn't mean that I didn't see anything that I like. I saw a cute headband with elastic string, but I figured that can wait. I just didn't have the urge to buy anything yet meanwhile Vero and Steph were going crazy looking for accessories. I was the only one going home empty handed. (Ops, me and Pejul actually). And guess what, when I was washing my face last night, I broke my headband. I took that as a sign to get a new one. : )

When they're doing this.

I was busy cam-whoring by myself

I lost my camwhoring talent. :(

Most of the pictures I took with them turned out blur.

This is not the headband that I talked about.

I feel fat. Especially around my waist and butt.

But that didn't stop me from going to McD. *satisfied*

Today I woke up at 6 am, for Larian Maksak. We're representing our department. It was fun but we only managed to stay until the warming up session and headed to the coffee shop for mee kolok. So far, that is the best mee kolok I ever had because I'm not a big fan of mee kolok.

Vero, me and Step. All fresh from bed without anything on our face.
We didn't even shower. Hehehe

Sex And The City 2

Being an avid fan of Carrie Bradshaw, it a must for me to keep up with her especially after she married Mr. Big. Lucky me and thousand other fans, Carrie Bradshaw is back in Sex and The City 2 with more humors and issues. I love every bits of this movie. It's awesome. Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte are four very wonderful modern women. These are the women with career, relationship, marriage, kids and fashion to juggle.

After a decade, their friendship still going strong. These women value different aspects in life but that never keep them apart. Husband or no husband, kids or no kids, girlfriends always come first (with special exception to a Birkin bag). Having relationship issue? Call your girlfriends. Having wardrobe crisis? Call your girlfriends. Going through career roller coaster ride? Call your girlfriends. I adore the fact that they never leave each other in time of need, no matter how embarrassing the situation is (for example, being caught having sex on the beach or having your Birkin pulled and sent off the collections of condom flying in public). Yes, that's Samantha (like I need to tell you that, :) )

Because I am a woman

Let's move on to the much more important aspect of Sex and The City. The WARDROBE. Carrie as her usual self, looks stunning in almost all of her dresses. But her taste sometimes is too much for my liking. The Dior shirt and the puffy maxi skirt she wore at the Abu Dhabi market where she ran into Aiden is a big No No for me. There are also some other quirky outfits that we normal people couldn't pull off but Carrie pull it off effortlessly. I can't help but find myself falling for Charlotte wardrobe. Her sense of style is more practical and absolutely ladylike. Samantha still stick to her old self, slutty in a she-couldn't-care-less stunning outfits while Miranda still strutting in her comfort yet elegance outfits.

I just found out a very good reason to marry someone like Mr. Big, someone with a big pocket. Because like Carrie said "I like my money where I can see it, hanging in my closet"

Before married.

After married.

I will definitely request a walk-in-closet from my future husband. I heard that engineers are making good money. Hahahahaha...

“The most important thing in life is your family. There are days you love them, and others you don’t. But, in the end, they’re the people you always come home to. Sometimes it’s the family you’re born into and sometimes it’s the one you make for yourself.”- Carrie Bradshaw.

Currently reading this

Note the titles, both are leading to one thing. MARRIAGE. (I Do, I Do, I Do & The Good Bride Guide). Don't worry, I'm not planning on getting married anytime soon. It is just a coincidence. I had these books with me for a while but I never manage to read it. The Good Bride Guide was my 21st birthday gift from Carol, few months later I still haven't read it yet. Life got pretty hectic now and I abandoned my passion for reading for quite a while. I miss those moment when you immersed yourself in a good book and feeling all happy inside out. So lately, I picked up my novels ( pity them, all covered in dust) and just finished reading Chosen from House of Night series. I got so pissed off with Neferet ( the Goddess in HOS) and so keen to know what happens next, but I'm too broke to splurge on the sequel. But lucky, I still got these novels to accompany me.

Confession: I just found out that when I'm at home, I spent 80% of my waking hour on the internet. Facebooking, blog-walking, twittering, tumblr-ing, online shopping. I need a life. So, tonight, I'm going out to meet my friends and watch Sex and The City 2. I miss my friends and I can't wait to catch Carrie on the screen.

Sun, Sea, Sand, You, Me and Us

Went to Damai beach yesterday and it was fantastic. We had so much fun exploring the beach and the weather was just perfect. I was running out of sunblock and still I didn't get any sunburn. This getaway was definitely what I needed. With him joining me there, it was really great. At first, I was so nervous and my stomach got the tingling feeling. But we made it. Talking to him in real world is way much better than and it wa easy too. We talked a lot on the way home when I let him drove my car. He definitely click with my friends, joining us talking and laughing all the way. By the way, these pictures are not in chronological order. I love beach. <3 Sadly, no pictures of us playing on the beach because we were too busy splashing each other. I love the big wave and the way it push you to the shore. I will definitely come here again next time.

Dearest Daddy

Happy Father's Day.
You are the most wonderful man ever.
You'll always be my super dad and I'll be your baby girl forever.
I love you.
